What we collect through ARANTRON, why, and the choices you have about it.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
ARANTRON 3D Configurator is a product of Starcube Interactive Media Inc., incorporated in Ontario, Canada, with its office at 18 King Street East, Suite 1400, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1C4. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Starcube Interactive Media Inc., and "you" means anyone who signs up for an OEM account, visits our marketing site, or otherwise interacts with the service. We're the data controller for the information described in this policy, except where noted otherwise below.
We have designated a Privacy Officer, who is responsible for our compliance with this policy and with applicable privacy law. You can reach them using the details in the Contact section.
ARANTRON is used two different ways, and this policy covers both, with a distinction that matters:
"Personal information" in this policy means information about an identifiable individual, such as a name, email address, or an identifier linked to a person. Information that has been aggregated or anonymized so it can no longer identify anyone is not personal information.
Anything you publish — the product name, description, option names and prices, images, your company logo and the sales contact you choose to show — is visible to anyone who opens that published configurator. Publishing is your choice, and it is public by design.
Under Canadian privacy law, we rely on your consent to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes in this policy. Your consent may be express (for example, ticking the agreement box when you sign up) or implied by your use of the service, and you can withdraw it at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on these bases: performance of a contract (to provide the service you signed up for); our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, measuring plan usage, understanding how our marketing site is used and improving ARANTRON), balanced against your rights; consent, where we ask for it, such as for marketing; and legal obligation, such as tax and accounting records.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the infrastructure providers ("subprocessors") that run the service, each bound by their own data-processing terms:
We keep this list current: if we add or replace a provider that handles personal information, we'll update this page.
We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Starcube, our customers, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and the receiving party will be required to protect it in line with this policy.
Our subprocessors above primarily operate infrastructure in the United States. If you're located in the EU/UK or elsewhere outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries with different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on our subprocessors' standard contractual safeguards for these transfers. While your information is in another country, it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under its laws.
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to withdraw your consent, or to object to or restrict certain processing — for example under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU/UK GDPR, or the California CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to respond within 30 days, and if we need more time, or can't fully meet a request, we'll tell you why. We don't charge a fee for ordinary requests. We won't treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
If you're a shopper who submitted a quote request through an OEM's configurator, please also reach out to that OEM directly, since they control that request. If you contact us about it, we'll pass your request on to the OEM.
Complaints. Please contact us first so we can try to put things right. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, if you're in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
The builder portal uses only the cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. The public pages of this marketing site also use Google Analytics 4 cookies (named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) to count visits and see which pages and links bring people here; Google processes this data for us under its own terms and privacy policy. These cookies are not set when your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", and you can also block or delete them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on. A published configurator loads Google Analytics only if the OEM who built it chose to add their own GA ID — if so, standard GA cookies apply for that page, governed by Google's own privacy policy. Separately, a published configurator keeps a random visitor ID in the browser's local storage to count returning visitors for its owner's dashboard; it is not a cookie and is not used to follow people across other sites. You can clear this ID at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere, access controls on our infrastructure, and row-level security on our database so accounts can only see their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
If a breach of our security safeguards involves your personal information and creates a real risk of significant harm, we'll notify the people affected and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires, and we keep a record of all breaches. Where the breach affects shopper data that we handle on behalf of an OEM, we'll tell that OEM without undue delay so it can meet its own obligations to its shoppers.
ARANTRON is a business-to-business service and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. For material changes we'll notify active account holders, by email or in the portal, before the change takes effect where we reasonably can.
Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, can be sent to our Privacy Officer at contact@starcubeinteractive.com, or by mail to:
